Worth Following: The Beerhorst Family

I first fell in love with the Beerhorst family after listening to their interview on the CraftSanity podcast. Husband and wife Rick and Brenda spoke about living a life of art, community, and love. Their six children are all artists, and are encouraged to explore their interests and learn freely. The interview hit me with such truth that I quickly scoured the internet for more on this remarkable family.

The thing that inspires me most about the Beerhorst family is their dedication for creating the life they most want to live, and finding a sense of grace and beauty in what others might deem a limitation. To me, theirs seems like the most magical existence, not without hardship, but fully immersed in substance, expansion, and play. There is also a courage that cannot be overlooked. To be brave enough to declare what you really want to be doing, and to make that happen by any means necessary, that is the greatest thing for someone like me to see.
