Podcast Love: My Top Favorites

I love podcasts more than most things.  They have 100% become my favorite form of entertainment and learning.  I listen to podcasts while I get ready in the morning.  I listen to them on my commutes to and from work.  I listen to podcasts while I’m knitting, cleaning, sewing, working out, when I can’t fall asleep.

It’s a serious love affair.

My choice of podcast at any given moment depends entirely on my mood.  This is why I need a complete variety of podcasts available at all times.  Some make me laugh, some help me learn, some inspire me creatively.  All keep me company.

I prefer to consume a podcast like a television series:  binging on as much as possible until I’m all caught up and have to begrudgingly wait a week or two for the next episode.  Many of these I’ve fallen in and out and back in love with.  I liken it to spending A LOT of time with a friend.. eventually they will get on your nerves.  It’s inevitable.  Then you take a little break, hang out with some other people, and you come back with fresh perspective and appreciation.

So, in the spirit of passing along my joy, below I will highlight my top favorite podcasts to listen to .. and then I’ll include the full list of everything else, that I totally feel are worth checking out (but may not be for everyone).

*These episodes contain explicit sexual conversation (especially the episode with Kristen Schaal, which is essentially an hour-long exploration of female sexuality).  Do not listen to these if you are a child, are hanging out with children, or are easily offended.
